The Bralo Hexagonal Insert Nut is a mechanical fastening element providing a grooving feature in those applications with a single-side access that require a very high resistance to rotation. It is ideal for applications with thin metal sheets, tubes, extrusion or plastics.
It offers an exceptional mechanical resistance. Compared to the round body insert nuts, the hexagonal shape of the section and the inner hole substantially increases the resistance to rotation and extraction in thin sheets.
The result is a homogeneous riveting that ensures a solid and high quality joint.

Under request, this large head hexagonal insert nut is available with a PVC sealing under the head. This ring provides a bigger sealing that absorbs vibrations and increases the item resistance to temperature variations.
The extra reduced hexagonal insert nut is made of steel. Its head has an extra thin lip that allows installation with an almost flat finish, joining two or more sheets.

Bralo Hexagonal Insert Nut is available in a galvanic zincating. This zinc coating protects steel from rust and corrosion, improving the visual aspect of the item at the same time.
Depending on the required strength in each application, there are various available zincating options: the galvanic one, where the zinc is the only metal that forms the suffering layer and the nickel zincating, with a resistance twice as high as that of the normal zincating, making it suitable for automotive and weather resistant applications. The latter is also available in a transparent, shiny look that can be silver or black.
